The brainchild of Simon Thomson of the UK, The International Art Exhibition is an art extravaganza bringing together artists from all over the world into a single place in many diverse genres.

International Art Exhibition

Mr Thomson says "I really feel strongly that artists the world over can make better use of the internet to inform and educate an inquisitive public at the same time as supporting and encouraging each other."

Art work may be viewed interactively on-line and will be screened in many venues world wide. The exhibition will begin accepting artist submissions on February 1, 2008 and will officially open to the public on March 15, 2008. Artists may interact with viewers via either live or delayed commentary. The International Art Exhibition will remain open from 2008-2012 in sync with the London Cultural Olympiad, spreading international goodwill with art as our athletes do with their sports.

So far 56 artists from as far afield as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States are all signed up and ready to display their work.

This exhibition will be freely available to anyone who wants to view it, via the Internet and at certain times through Upton Community Centre and other venues around the country. To display this Exhibition, for free, in your hotel, office, school or library, just send Simon Thomson an e-mail exhibition@eluk.co.uk
